- Ground Beef – you can use ground turkey as well
- Bacon
- Onion
- Tomato Sauce
- Chicken Broth
- Dried Pasta – you really can use any shape, I used penne here but rotini, bowtie or any short cut pasta works great.
- Ketchup – take it over the top and use Homemade Ketchup!
- Mustard
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Cheddar Cheese
- Salt & Pepper

How To Make Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta
- Brown Ground Beef. In a large skillet brown the ground beef and onions together, breaking up the ground beef and cooking until the meat is cooked and the onions are soft.
- Add Everything. Stir in the tomato sauce, chicken broth, uncooked pasta, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Make sure everything is well combined and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Simmer. Cover the skillet and reduce to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes until the pasta is cooked, stirring occasionally.
- Cheese. Stir in about 1 cup of the cheese and 3/4s of the bacon pieces. You want to reserve a little bit to top. Mix until the cheese is melted.
- Topping. Top with the remaining cheese and bacon. Cover and let the cheese melt. Remove and serve immediately.

Recipe Tips & Suggestions
- Toppings. Get creative with the toppings and add whatever your favorite burger toppings are. Diced tomatoes, raw onions, pickles, avocado etc.
- Sauce. I used a combination of Ketchup and Mustard in the sauce to give it that classic burger flavor. But you could definitely use barbecue sauce instead of ketchup if you wanted that smokiness and slightly different flavor.
- Veggies. You can add veggies to this to make it more of a full meal. I prefer bell peppers and mushrooms, but you can add anything you like.
Storage
You can store leftover bacon cheeseburger pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. It does reheat well in the microwave for lunches later in the week.
