Garlic Beef Noodle Bowls are a quick and flavorful dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Tender strips of beef are cooked with a savory garlic sauce and tossed with noodles. Add whatever veggies you like for a dinner that is ready in about 15 minutes!

Noodle bowls are an easy way to get dinner on the table, and load them up with whatever you like! The chewy noodles soak up the delicious sauce and it’s customizable too, so you can swap in your favorite veggies or adjust the spice level to suit your taste.
I love dinner that is ready in minutes. These garlic beef noodle bowls come together in about 15 minutes, which is perfect for busy weeknights. Slicing the beef takes the most amount of time. Depending on the noodles you use, they can be done in anything from 2-10 minutes.

- Olive Oil
- Skirt Steak or Flank Steak – people have said that ground beef works well too.
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Soy Sauce
- Brown Sugar

- Green Onions
- Sesame Seeds
And you can even complete your take out meal with a super fast and easy Egg Drop Soup if you want the full restaurant experience.

How To Make Garlic Beef Noodle Bowls
- Cook Noodles. Start by cooking whatever noodles you want to use according to package directions.
- Make Sauce. In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir until well combined and then set aside until you are ready to use it.
- Cook Meat. Heat oil over high heat in a large skillet. Once it is hot, add the beef strips. Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes, until it is browned, but not cooked through.
- Season. Add garlic and ginger to the pan, cook for 1 minute until you can just start to smell them. You want to be careful not to let them burn.
- Add Sauce. Now you mix in the soy sauce mixture to the pan and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 3-5 minutes until sauce slightly thickens.
- Toss Together. Add cooked noodles to the pan and stir until everything is well coated.
- Serve. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over the pan to serve.

What Noodles Do I Use
What noodles you use, is pretty much up to you. I used udon noodles, but some people comment they look like worms and can’t do it. Check out the noodles in the Asian aisle of your grocery store for even more options.
- Lo Mein Noodles
- Linguine
- Spaghetti
- Egg Noodles
- Udon Noodles
Or pretty much any other noodle that you like will work.
Recipe Tips & Suggestions
- Add Veggies. You can turn this into a full stir fry by adding any vegetables you like. Bell peppers, snow peas, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms etc.
- Prep. This cooks very quickly, so you want to have everything measured and ready when you start cooking or your meat will end up being over cooked and tough.
- Protein. You can definitely mix up the protein called for in this recipe. Using ground beef or even ground turkey will make it more budget friendly. But any cut of steak, thinly sliced will also work great.
- Storage. Leftovers are great stored in the fridge for 3-4 days. Just reheat in the microwave until warmed through to serve.

My family loooooves this!
A new family favorite!
I always find that the meat is always tough in these kind of recipes and I’m wondering if I should be velveting it with baking soda previous to cooking it?
I have never done that, but make sure you slice against the grain when you cut your meat. That will help make it more tender.
Can ground beef be used in place of the flank or skirt steak?
I have heard from people who have done that and said it was still really good!
Can you use chicken in this recipe instead of steak?
Yes, you can use chicken or even pork if you wanted
Great dish, I used shaved ribeye that I found prepackaged at my market. We like spicy so we added a fresh cayenne pepper.
Thank you!
What other kind of steak could you use?
You could use any cut of steak that you like eating; sirloin or NY strip would be good. Ribeye would be decent, but kind of fatty because you cook it so quickly none of the fat will really melt.
