This post is sponsored by Family Dollar. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own
If you have kids you know that they are always hungry. Like seriously, 30 minutes after breakfast they think it is time for a snack. I am not sure where the food goes, but they always seem to want more of it. So having healthy and filling snacks around is a must.
And when the kids are in school they come home starving, like they haven’t eaten anything in days! I love making homemade snacks and treats, so when the kids get home they have something quick to grab. Everyone loves these peanut butter energy balls. Anything they can grab and eat quickly is a win!
Today I am working with Family Dollar for this recipe. They are such a one stop shop for everything you need. You can get everything you need to make these energy balls, to picking up cleaning supplies, other groceries and even filling my medicine cabinet.
They even have a new coupon system that is tailored to your shopping history. You can use an app to clip coupons straight to your account, eliminating the need to cut or print coupons. And, it is easy to sign up! All you have to do is go to the Smart Coupons page on the Family Dollar website to set up an account or you can download “Smart Coupon” from the app store. Such an easy way to save a little extra money.
These little energy balls are perfect to have on hand for busy days, summer when the kids are home, throw in a lunch box or have when the kids walk in the door after school. They are a good source of protein, fiber, and other healthy ingredients.
But they still have to taste good and be fun, so I added a few M&M’s in there. Plus you know me and my peanut butter and chocolate obsession, so the candy was kind of necessary. Perfect way to get a little treat that you can still feel good about eating!
This no bake energy ball comes together in just minutes. All of the ingredients can be found at Family Dollar, so there is no running all over town to find anything. Then you just dump all of the ingredients together in a bowl, mix together, and roll into little balls. I like to store ours in the fridge so that they keep their shape.
Peanut Butter energy balls are portable and just a great quick and easy snack. They will quickly become a staple in your house!
